Archery hunting has awakened something in my sole. I can’t describe the peace and tranquility I feel when I’m out in the field. I am a firm believer that hunting isn’t about killing. Hunting is about becoming one with nature.

I am an avid spot and stalk Antelope archery hunter. I’ve hunted utilizing several of the decoys out on the market today as well as sitting in my Double Bull Blind over water holes. Nothing beats the adrenaline rush and sense of accomplishment I get when I’ve successfully harvested an Antelope buck after a challenging spot and stalk.

I didn’t like having to carry, set up and hide behind a decoy leaving me stationary hoping that a buck would come close enough for a kill shot. I have nothing against the decoys that are out in the market today. They are tried and proven to be effective. I just wanted to have more freedom while out in the field so I started messing around with different types of hats, adding horns, ears and painting them to look like an Antelope buck. After several prototypes I finally settled on what is now the SpeedGoat Hat.

In testing, I’ve had multiple bucks come within the 30 yard mark. Some bucks charging to fend me off during the rut. Others approach cautiously to check me out when not in rut. Believe me, it’s an adrenaline pumping adventure to have a buck come in that close even when you know you can’t take the shot for lack of a tag!

Give one a try. I’m confident that you will have so much fun that you’ll tell your friends about Be the Decoy’s SpeedGoat Hat.

Sincerely,
Mark
